We offer full day and part time childcare places on a daily basis. The bilingual Kimby early learning academy Binningen cares for and promotes all children thanks to qualified specialist staff in German and English according to our pedagogical concept. The learning objectives derived from the fields of discovery and development are developed in the form of individual and group activities, "Learn & Play" stations, educational games and various excursions. Thanks to language immersion (D/E), the children consolidate the languages they have already learnt from Nursery. 

Our Nursery consists of separate groups (babies and toddlers) and caters for very young and young children aged 3 to 36 months. We offer full-day and part-time childcare places on a daily basis. Both small groups are cared for by qualified staff in German and English and are supported according to our pedagogical concept. At this level, special attention is paid to the individual needs of the children. Our multi-faceted daily programme includes various activities that can easily be adapted to the sleeping and eating rhythms of the little ones. The aim is to encourage and support the toddlers in their development during the first 3 years of life thanks to loving and safe care, and to accompany them on their way to independent living so that they develop a sense of time. Together, the children gain their first socialisation experiences and, thanks to the immersion method, receive a sound basis for future language acquisition. 

Our pre-school group is aimed at children aged 3 to 4 years and offers full-day care places every day. In these groups, qualified childcare professionals (FaBe) teach using a compatible curriculum. The learning objectives derived from the discovery and development fields are developed in the form of individual and group activities, "Learn & Play" stations, educational games and various excursions. Thanks to language immersion (D/E), the children consolidate the languages they have already learned in the Nursery. A regulated daily routine helps them to increase their sense of security and to prepare optimally for entry into kindergarten. Before or after the official school hours, the preschool children can also take advantage of the daily early care as well as the school-supplementary afternoon programme (Kids Activities/Hort) together with the external kindergarten children.

We help each child to build their self-esteem and confidence through German/English early language development programmes.

Children need the language in order to be integrated in their interactions with other children, at school and later in their careers.

ln theme-based weekly plans, Kimby promotes the children's communicative skills through targeted activities so that they can confidently move through and consolidate them.

Together, the children gain their first socialisation experiences and, thanks to early language development, also receive a sound basis for future language acquisition. 

Kimby offers a forest day every week. 

This is an exciting experience for children. Experiencing nature trains the senses, imagination, sensitivity, creativity as well as gross and fine motor skills. Enjoying nature together is always a positive experience. The forest day is held almost in all weathers.

Our Kids Camps/holiday care offer attractive all-day care in the form of exciting theme and project weeks during the official school holidays (according to the kindergarten-school calendar of Baselland and Baselstadt).

This holiday offer is aimed at both external kindergarten and school children aged 4 to 10 years, who are looked after in 2 age groups (Explorers and Horizon).

The children are looked after by qualified professionals (FaBe) or teachers. The aim is to make the holiday time meaningful and educational. At the same time, the children's ability to deal with languages in a stylistically confident manner is expanded and deepened through play.

Parents/guardians can book whole weeks or individual days with us.
